Mrs. Judy Morales, Principal

As principal of Longs Creek Elementary School, I am committed to creating a school environment where every student feels valued, challenged, and inspired to achieve their full potential. I believe that strong relationships, high expectations, and meaningful collaboration are the foundation of a successful learning community.

My career in education has included experience as a classroom teacher, Response to Intervention trainer, instructional coach, assistant principal, and campus leader. These experiences have strengthened my passion for supporting student growth and helping educators create engaging and effective learning environments.

My personal journey has given me a deep appreciation for diverse cultures, perspectives, and experiences. Having lived and learned across multiple countries and cultures, I understand the transformative power of education and its ability to create opportunities for students and families.

As both an educator and parent, I have witnessed the lasting impact that dedicated teachers and supportive school communities can have on children. I believe family engagement, strong relationships, and a shared commitment to student success are essential to building a thriving school culture.

I am proud to serve the Longs Creek community and look forward to working alongside students, staff, and families as we continue to help every child grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

Ms. Deya Apolinar

Dear Parents, Students, and Community Members,

Welcome! My name is Deyanira Apolinar, and I am honored to serve our school community as Assistant Principal.

I have proudly dedicated my entire educational career to North East ISD, serving students and families since 2003. Throughout the years, I have had the privilege of supporting student success in a variety of roles, including elementary classroom teacher, instructional coach at both the elementary and middle school levels, and assistant principal.

I earned both my bachelor's and master's degrees from The University of Texas at San Antonio and remain passionate about helping students reach their full potential. My experiences in education have reinforced my belief that strong relationships, high expectations, and a supportive learning environment are essential to student growth and success.

Outside of school, I am a proud mother of two daughters. My family and I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether we're fishing, paddleboarding, hiking, traveling, or enjoying a day at the beach. These experiences remind me of the importance of curiosity, exploration, and lifelong learning—values I strive to encourage in our students every day.

I am grateful for the opportunity to serve our students, families, and staff and look forward to partnering with our school community to ensure every child feels supported, challenged, and inspired to succeed.

Warmly,
Deyanira Apolinar
Assistant Principal
